Looking for recommendations to improve skin texture
Answer: TCA combined with CO2 laser can help improve skin texture Fractional CO2 laser is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation in our center in Santa Monica. We use the fractional multi-depth ablative approach to help resurface the skin, recontour acne scars, improve incisional plastic surgery scars, and reduce surface irregularities from skin tone to dark pigmentation. Our approach utilizes a multi-depth approach that targets melanocytes in the epidermis and collagen fibroblasts in the dermis. This approach can be combined with a TCA Peel in a process known as a sapphire peel. Fractional laser is excellent for acne scars and contour scars in the skin. Patients are advised to undergo skin protocols with Melarase creams before and after treatment to help reduce pigmentation. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. After the laser, we expect redness for a few weeks as the skin improves. PRP and Hydrafacial enzyme facials can further improve skin quality after fractional co2. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: CO2 Laser Resurfacing Hello chelseagreen833! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Shah Facial Plastics. Based on your concerns, I recommend trying a CO2 laser resurfacing treatment such as CoolPeel. This is a great laser for skin rejuvenation and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, minimizes pores, and improves overall skin texture. I highly recommend scheduling an in-person consultation in order to better assess the areas of concern and discuss an appropriate treatment plan to help achieve your aesthetic goals. Our office phone number is: (312) 944-0117. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Consider Professionally Performed Manual Microneedling For Improving Skin Color & Textural Irregularities At least from the photo, there appear to be numerous dilated pores. Although TCA CROSS is used for dilated pores, my concern, where there are so many dilated pores so closely packed is that the TCA application may become too confluent on the surface and risk a surface peel. CO2 laser, too, is an aggressive approach and risks burns, dyspigmentation and scarring. On the other hand, professionally performed, manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) does not pose this type of risk. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Answer: CO2 Laser or TCA Cross for Improving Skin Texture The choice between CO2 laser resurfacing and TCA Cross for improving skin texture depends on several factors, including your specific skin concerns and downtime. CO2 laser resurfacing is a more aggressive treatment that uses laser technology to remove the top layer of the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving overall skin texture. It is highly effective for improving skin texture, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone. However, TCA Cross is very effective for treating icepick acne scars and improving localized skin texture issues. There can be redness and scabbing in the treated areas, which take about a week to heal. You should consult with a Board-Certified Dermatologist to see which option would be best for you.
