Alloclae use and expense - how long do results last?

Question

I have had two fat transfers, with liposuction irregularities. I am interested in Alloclae to improve the medial areas of the breast and the irregularities from the liposuction. My concern is paying all this money and seeing the results may only last 1-3 years. I am looking for advice on if this will need to be repeated every other year for this hearty price tag? Thank you

Find a few different surgeons who use the product and inquire about what you can do to maximize alloclae retention. The cost is hefty because of the manufacturers - the process to make the fat usable in anyone is costly which in terms is not cheap for the surgeon to purchase the product as well. But in our practice - we have seen 60-80% retention but that is also area dependent as well as person dependent. Touch up might be needed but if the alloclae graft takes well, ideally if enough survived to fix the defect - it is not like fillers (where your body will slowly eat it up and need a refill), ideally it is now like your own body's fat. You ask the same questions we as plastic surgeons are asking !!! I have used Alloclae a few times, I find it takes more product then initially thought. So much more costs ! And as for longevity at this time much to early to determine if the results last over 1-3 years.  Ask your Plastic surgeon injector if trying a combination  of Alloclae with fat grafting is possible.
