Invisalign tooth not tracking - Dr. ignoring it. Any suggestions?

It does happen that one tooth might not fully move with the trays like the other teeth. Your treating doctor knows the best treatment plan for you. As long as the other teeth are moving properly it is not unusual to keep with the same aligners to get most of the things corrected and then go back to focus on the more difficult tooth

It's not somewhat common especially with the smaller lateral incisors to have a tooth not track in your first set of aligners. The reason your Dr is wanting to keep going is to continue aligning all the other teeth. At refinement, your Dr will get a new scan or impression and correct whatever is left with more aligners.  That is the way that I do it in my office but I would still discuss your concerns with the dentist to keep the line of communication open.  

In my practice, as an Invisalign Premiere Provider Elite, I have learned to always listen to the concerns of my patients. It is true that that incisor can be "recaptured", but I always try to address this problem.
