I don't know if I'm missing lateral incisors but from the looks of it, I am. What can I go about fixing it? (Photo)

Dr. Richter has given you the ideal solution.  Cuspid substitution as Dr. Tiberwal has suggested was more common when implants were not possible and the alternative was to move the cuspids forward or to prepare healthy teeth for bridgework.  It would be very difficult to make your cuspids look like lateral incisors and the teeth would require reduction in order to attempt to do so.  Also from a function stand point, it is important to have the cuspids placed where they belong.

Hi, it does seem from photos that you have missing lateral incisors.You should see a dentist for some radiographs to determine if they are totally absent or just haven't come through. If they are totally absent, than canines can be moved in place and altered to shape like laterals. This will improve your smile.

The best way to approach this problem is to have orthodontics. The plan for orthodontics is to move the canine teeth back where they belong to make room for the lateral incisors. It is absolutely East Central that the canines be put in the proper position where canines be long. There are no shortcuts to this approach. Please do not think you can simply put veneers or crowns over these teeth as some doctors will have you believe; It will be detrimental in the long run.after your orthodontics then you can place implants in the lateral incisor position and your smile will be gorgeous and healthy for the long run!
