I noticed what looks like an air bubble/blister on my right breast incision site. What is this? (photos)

The skin is raised there. I noticed it a day ago and I had my breast augmentation surgery back in March. I e-mailed my plastic surgeon and am seeing him later this week. He said it could be the scar thinning out. Should I be concerned?

It is hard to tell from the photograph but it appears that the darker parts of the nipple are the congested areas. I would call the plastic surgeon.

A difference of 75 cc is indeed rather large.  The only way to tell if this is appropriate is to be in the operating room.

It is most likely a tear in the implant capsule, not a muscle tear.  Either way, the treatment is the same, patience and pain control.  Do not do anything that aggravates the pain.  Cut back on your physical activities. This may take several months before the pain completely...

Hello and thanks. There is no cream or pill that has been shown to increase breast size. The best "tried and true" method is breast augmentation using silicone or saline breast implants. Best, Dr. ALDO

Textured implants seem to take a little longer for them to drop, but they do drop over 3-6 months. People argue that they don't drop, but I have seen it with my patients as I use almost exclusively textured implants in my practice. I like these implants so much, given the research noting...
