I recently bought a laser hair removal package for my chin. I also bought a package for chemical peels (for my face). I have always known that these two treatments should NOT occur at the same appointment. However, this aesthetician insists that I can get laser hair removal on my chin immediately before a chemical peel in the same sitting. I have been booked for both on 4/22/24. Doctors, has something changed? What can I do if she continues to push both procedures in the same day?

Chemical peels can be titrated to varying strengths ranging from superficial to deep. The answer to your question depends on the depth of the peel of course. I would suggest continuing Melarase PM Arbutin up until the day of the peel and then afterwards when the skin has epithelialized.
