Hi, I had Bodytite Lipo 2 and a half months ago. It didn't work. The clinic I went to were con artists. I am in the process of getting my money back. My upper and lower abs have hard lumpy bits in them. The bottom of my tummy is quite solid. I presume this is scar tissue? Is there anything I can do to help reduce this? Can it cause me problems later in life? How soon can I have vaser or bodytite on area again?? Thank you Sophie.
Answer: Vaser Lipo
Greetings Sophie. I am sorry to hear you had your experience with con artists. This is unfortunately very common in medicine now as physicians seek out other sources of revenue. Many were not trained as surgeons, nor did a residency as a plastic surgeon, nor are board certified. First, you should get an assessment from a BCPS, and then consider your options. The hard mass is not usually something that lasts a lifetime, but without an exam, and knowing what they used, it is hard to give accurate information. Our practice is made up of 30% revisions or corrections of patients who have a story similar to yours. Your problem sounds like it is able to be corrected, but you must be patient and allow time to heal and determine the best course of action.

Answer: Liposuction Candidate - VASER HI DEF Lipo, ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite skin tightening, fat grafting for buttock based on these photos you need a tummy tuck and liposuction to get really "tight" if you want improvement you can do liposuction alone with internal heating. please see an expert. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: An aggressive Liposuction with Bodytite RF should really make a big improvement. From the photos, it looks like not much was done. After 3-4 months post lipo, you can see if you need a touch up or not normally but in your case I think I would just go ahead and get a thorough tum. liposuction with Bodytite now.

Answer: BodyTite/Vaser Liposuction Scarring (photos) Hello SophieOrange, Thank you for your question. In my practice I perform Bodytite frequently on my patients. One must remember that there is a healing phase which your body must go through before the results are evident. With my patients I request that they wear a compression garment or Spanx type garment for at least 6 months to help with swelling and smoothing. I would ask if you are wearing a garment. I would also agree that you should wait 3-6 months before doing a second procedure in the same areas.

Answer: Liposuction issues
Hopefully you re seeing or are going to see a board certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated for your concerns. You probably need to wait several months before considering having a revision.
