I have blue veins on my lip after juverderm injections almost 3 weeks ago I took arnica so there was really no bruising at all. But now I see these blue veins on my upper lip only, from what I can tell. The thing is it sometimes aches a little I feel like I can feel the vein and that it’s triggering something in my gums to ache. Did the doctor do something wrong? I AM EXTREMELY WORRIED plase respond back.

With some patients Juvederm lasts for years but eventually it will dissolve. It will not cause infections and paralysis. Enjoy your results as long as it lasts. Good luck!
Sometimes the clear Juvederm gel can dissect through the tissue planes and move from deeper placement to more superficial locations (just below the skin) where the Tyndall effect makes the "blister-like" areas look bluish in color. Though injection with hyaluronidase can be performed,...
Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid and acts as a filler by absorbing water in your tissues. It may absorb more water than Restylane in the lower eyelid area. Being swollen from having more water held in the area doesn't mean that there is a problem with lymphatic drainage.
