I am currently on my third week on Retin-A micro gel and my skin is having a flake fest. I am constantly peeling layers of dry skin off my face. I've always heard that exfoliating at least one or two times a week is a quintessential part of one's skincare regimen, however I am not sure how to properly do so. When I try and exfoliate using a washcloth my skin gets very irritated (no matter how gentle I am) and I feel like I am triggering more breakouts.
