Sofwave & dental implant?

On sofwave website it lists dental implant as a precaution. What precautions need to be taken with an upper single tooth dental implant? According to website the depth of penetration is 2mm. Implant is not superficial.

Thanks for your question. Dental implants is technically listed as a precaution, but realistically there is no mechanism by which a Sofwave treatment would have an effect on your implants. The Sofwave energy is only getting to a 1.5 mm depth into the skin so there is no way that would reach your implants. The reason the precaution is there is a technicality- it's a precaution that was listed with the older form of this treatment, called Ultherapy. But Ultherapy had a transducer which went significantly deeper which the Sofwave device does not have. So, you are all set to be treated!
