Pair of central incisors are relatively large and slightly tilted towards inside at the center. They are unnecessarily large, occupying more space due to a tilt inwards. There is a lack of symmetry of teeth.

Answer: Big centrals You are correct that they dominate your smile--That said, large central incisors are what every model and cover girl are looking for. Its the tilting and misalignment that is the real issue--looks like a great option for orthodontics--invisalign may be a great option--I would not recommend reshaping the teeth significatly--save for ortho if you need too--your smile will be amazing--Dr John Merrill

Answer: Central incisor size One of the reasons your upper central incisors appear large is because there is some crowding of your teeth, the results in the central incisors appearing forward relative to the teeth next to them. If your teeth were to be aligned with orthodontic treatment, you may no longer feel that they look large. Another additional possibility is that the lateral incisors are small compared to the central incisors, which is actually more common. If at the end of orthodontic treatment, your teeth are aligned properly, but you are still concerned about the size of your teeth, you would then see a restorative dentist to find out about options such as veneers to alter the shape of your teeth. I recommend that you have a consultation with an orthodontist to do a comprehensive evaluation and go over your treatment options.
