Any suggestions to limit scarring after AirSculpt if I have history of keloids from past incisions?

Hi, im getting full abdomen airsculpt in 2 weeks and have a history of keloids and scarring from past incisions. Any suggestions to limit scarring from the procedure? Thank you!

I suggest you discuss the placement of incisions with your surgeon to see if they can place them in the most to least visible locations such as lower abdomen below the bikini line.
Patients perform hypertrophic or keloid scars should have their scars managed during the first year to year and a half after surgery.
Silicone sheeting should be used at a minimum starting around six weeks after surgery. if this does not keep hypertrophy under control then conservative anti-inflammatory steroid injections or possibly topical treatments can be considered. It’s always better to manage these while they’re forming rather than to treat them after formed.Prevention is better than treatment of hypertrophic scars
Talk to your surgeon.
If they don’t give you the follow up or offer scar management then find another provider for this part of the recovery.
