If my face isn’t feeling warm/hot from the rf micro needling, is it still working?

I’ve had rf micro needling before, it was painful, even though I numbed and my face always got very hot, red and swollen, nevertheless I did see results after the treatments. Recently, I tried a new rf micro needling machine, at the same depth, but not sure about heat. The operator said there is only one heat setting. With the new machine, it wasnt painful, my face did not get hot and very little swelling. Is the new machine going to yield results? What are your suggestions?

With newer technologies ,The inventors focus is on pain & swelling control but as a provider, my good quality treatment defines as a mild red and warm skin which may last for few hours. Depending your skin tone, you may not notice the redness significantly.
