Is it possible to remove epicanthal fold without raise the crease? (photos)

hi i had crease put in about 10 years, since i experienced vision change, and my left was never the same again. i do have a prominent epic fold, which make my eyes seem far apart. is that possible to remove epic fold with change the crease? i worry about any further procedure on the eyes would affect my eyes again. also i m thinking of having rinoplasty, will raise the nose bridge, rectify my epic fold problem? i have lots of fat around the eyes

Answer to your rhinoplasty question. It's not going to change the way the inner corners of your eyes look. However, it will give an overall different appearance to the eyes and nose together. Changing your medial epicanthal fold can be done but be very careful. If there's not muchskin left at the medial epicanthal area of the eyelid then you're likely to just create more scarring. It is possible to get the existing trees to taper downward into the corner but I would be very cautious. I would only seek the Advice of surgeons who obviously perform this type of surgery regularly.Chase lay M.D.

Other surgeons have advised you that it is possible to diminish the epicanthal fold without affecting the height of the eyelid crease.A rhinoplasty with raising of the dorsum can make the eyes appear less wide apart.Please consult in person with an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon prior to making treatment decisions.

Yes, there are procedures to remove the epicanthal fold without disturbing your crease. Surgery to create the crease and remove the epicanthal fold should not in any way affect your vision. I recommend finding a board certified plastic surgeon who has a significant amount of experience with Asian eyelid surgery in your area.

It is possible to adjust the epicanthus without adjusting the crease. However, you might consider revising your eyelids and brows because there is a slight asymmetry apparent.
