Hi! So I've noticed that one of my eyebrows arches higher than the other, I was just wondering if there was a permanent fix for this? I've read that botox can help but it wears off. Thanks!
Answer: Eyebrow asymmetry could be from underlying eyelid asymmetry Often, one eyebrow is higher than the other due to underlying eyelid asymmetry (one side being more droopy). Meaning the eyebrow is compensating. I cannot tell from your cropped photo. See an oculoplastic specialist.

Answer: One eyebrow higher than the other Without seeing a less cropped photo, it is difficult to fully appreciate the facial anatomy and other possible asymmetries. However, in general, it has been my experience that a higher eyebrow results from more muscular activity of the forehead on that side. I am assuming both eye sockets and surrounding anatomy are relatively equal. Though surgical intervention is sometimes tried, many times the disparity will return. The approach in this case is usually either a direct browlift over the lower eyebrow or an open coronal browlift. Alternatively, you can try botox to selectively weaken a hyperactive frontalis on the higher side or weaken the depressors on the lower side.

Answer: Eyebrows It is difficult to evaluate with the photos that you have provided. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. A few options may included Botox treatment or endoscopic brow lift surgery. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Focusing only on your brows you could achieve better symmetry with a small amount of Botox under the brow where you want more arch but this is temporary. Permanent fixes are difficult to achieve and if someone promises you they can do this for you, get it in writing and know what the revision policy is.

Answer: One eyebrow higher than the other I recommend either Botox or Ultherapy to just the lower brow to even off the asymmetry. Botox lasts for approximately 3-4 months and Ultherapy can last up to a year or so.
