I already did Invisalign and that one tooth wasn’t fixed. As you can see in the picture there is one tooth on the bottom row in the center that is very angled. It improved a lot with Invisalign but was ultimately the only tooth that wasn’t able to be straightened (top row is perfectly straight now). Doing Invisalign again is not an option so I’m looking to see whether it could benefit from porcelain veneers. Please advise! Thank u.

For all of those reading and considering composite veneers, I would strongly advise against them! You may save some money upfront, however in the long run, porcelain veneers are a much better option.

Unfortunately without more photo and X-ray it is difficult to give you accurate advice. Please post photo and X-ray of the affected area. Most likely there needs to be a combination of braces and cosmetic dentistry.

In my practice I never give a veneer patient a night guard or retainer after veneers. The reason for this is night time bruxism is all bout a lack of oxygen. So, if you are grinding your teeth then adding a piece of plastic to your mouth creates yet another hurdle for oxygen to pass.
