Can I eat foods with beta-carotene with Accutane?

Can I take food which contains provitamin-A/ beta-carotene when I am on accutane? Does it cause side effects?

Isotretinoin is already a massive dose of synthetic vitamin A, so we advise patients to avoid additional intake of vitamin A while taking this medication. It is possible to reach toxic levels of vitamin A in the system with symptoms including nausea, blurred vision, headaches and vomiting.
