Will mild Symmastia worsen? (photos)

Question

I'm 4 weeks post op breast augmentation with donut lift on one side. Implants were placed under the muscle. There's definitely webbing and pulling between my breast. I now realize I had a very minor form of this before surgery but didn't know it was a "thing" (congenital symmastia). I'm so afraid of breeding any revisions as I just can't afford it. Will it worsen because of the implants, and will I need to have a revision?

Technically this does not look like synmastia to me and should probably not get any worse.  You probably will not need a revision.

The breast implants are close together but aren't totally separate pockets. This is not synmastia. A swelling subsides the appearance of the breast may become more natural.

The great news is that you do not appear to have symmastia at all.  Your implants are nicely positioned and do not cross the midline at all.  You are swollen, as it is early after your surgery, and it's too soon to worry about any revision, but I doubt you'll need one.

A combined surgery, like a lift and implant, can have a lot of swelling.  Although I see what you mean by webbing, I would encourage you to be patient for several months.  If it does not go down, a revision can be done.  Best to wait a bit longer.  Good luck.
