Can I have Cosemelan on slightly darker skin? I am half Filipino, half American. (Photos)

I actually got the melasma from someone doing fraxel and clear & brilliant twice on me and now I am trying to unfortunately back pedal. I am so depressed about it.

Hyperpigmentation needs skin care and lasers for long term improvement as well as sun protection. you can do the cosmelan over and over.  Best, Dr.Emer.

Yes, it is very common to experience more peeling after staring Cosmelan 2 maintenance cream. The perioral area around nose and mouth are areas where we commonly see this happening. I instruct my patients to avoid this areas until irritation is better, normally a couple of days.The patient...
