I actually got the melasma from someone doing fraxel and clear & brilliant twice on me and now I am trying to unfortunately back pedal. I am so depressed about it.

There is no problem using Cosmelan for treatment of Melasma no matter what your skin color is

Yes, you can have Cosmelan, but keep in mind,  Melasma needs a combination approach to get the best improvement. It will need a series of treatments to get improvement. In our practice, we combine lasers, microneedling/PRP, aerolase, along with Cosmelan to get the best results. Melasma will need life-long maintenance. Best, Dr. Emer
