Should I apply cosmelan 2 on peeling skin? or do i have to wait for it to stop peeling before applying again?

i first got the cosmelan 1 treatment with my dermatologist; the peeling stopped after a week and my skin looked pretty good. however, she prescribed me to use c2 1 week after the initial treatment so now, my skin is peeling again. she told me to use it every other night (tues, thurs, sat, sun) but im wary of applying it on the pink-ish/sunburnt-looking peeling parts of my face. is it safe? or can i just wait for the peeling to stop before apply again? or maybe just avoid putting on those areas?

I recommend following up with your dermatologist about after care recommendations and your concerns. After Cosmelan, I recommend a chemical peel or lasers for long-term improvement. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

It seems like every practitioner has a different approach when it comes to applying Cosmelan 2. 
I used to recommend that you use the Cosmelan 2 about 4-7 days after Cosmelan 1 or when the flaking had stopped.  However, I recently had an updated training session with the representative from Cosmelan who insisted that Cosmelan 2 had to be started the very next day after the Cosmelan1.
Its very confusing I know.  You can actually peel or flake for up to 3-6 weeks after the Cosmelan 1. 
I would suggest that you call your Dermatologist and explain your concerns.
