I was asked to put on the Cosmelan mask for 12 hours. After that, my face is swollen, red and itching. Is it normal?

It should be perfectly fine to receive Botox after starting Cosmelan treatment.  Only caution would be if your skin is very dry or fragile, otherwise, no problems at all.  Cosmelan is a great way to get rid of excess pigmentation in the skin.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your query. Melasma has the tendency to recur even after proper management. Cosmelan or Dermamelan mask can be repeated once in 6 months. It is always better to start the step 2 protocol after a mask for desired results . Good Luck.
