What is a cortisone shot in the butt?

Cortisone can have an unwanted side effect of fat atrophy, which could amount to a depression in the buttock.   Certainly not what Kim Kardashian had done to increase her buttock size

That isn't what she had done.  Cortisone will create a depression if injected into the buttock.  Not a good idea.Be sure to seek out a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in buttock augmentation and has a large photo gallery and patient testimonials. 

Cortisone shots are used to decrease prominence and melt tissues, such as when too much fat has been placed in one area. So likely not.

Cortisone is a natural anti-inflammatory steroid in our bodies.

It is released during states of stress.

There are multiple synthetic steroids hey bailable as well.

Anti-inflammatory steroids have no relationship to anabolic steroids such as testosterone.

Steroids are given for many reasons. Injections of steroids can be given for a variety of skin lesions or for systemic effects. One common indication for a steroid injection is a flare up of asthma or a severe allergic reaction.

Steroid injections can cause fat atrophy or drastic shrinking of fat.Cortisone injections can also be used to minimize the inflammatory response after athletic competitions.

This is one of the illegal performance-enhancing drugs that Lance Armstrong used during his competitions in the Tour de France.

Steroid injections cannot cause areas to enlarge and if Kim K had steroid injections they were certainly not related to the size of her bottom.
