Needing a breast reduction because rashes grooves on both shoulders and neck pain I like to be in a C cup so how many cc's will be taken from each breast? Hopefully pd by wellcare of ga

I would think that insurance would cover the cost.  As far as the amount to be removed is concerned, that decision is made at the time of surgery depending on what is necessary to give you the nicest results.  The amounts you mention are estimates only.

The amount that is removed from each breast will depend on your desired end result and is difficult to predict. During this operation we do not remove a pre-specified amount of breast tissue and then stop the operation, rather as artist, we will shape the breasts to the desire size and shape and recreate the desired symmetry between the two. You can expect a sizable reduction given your starting size however, I would focus less on the weight value and on the shape and desired breast size on your frame for optimal results. #BreastReduction #PlasticSurgery #BraSize

You should be very pleased with the results of your procedure. Not only will the rashes and discomfort be resolved but the breasts will be far more similar in size and appearance.A volume estimate before surgery will require a formal evaluation but a significant volume of breast tissue will be removed. Clearly more from the right than the left. I would anticipate a D cup would be reasonable expectation as this is more related to the width of the breast and circumference of the chest.Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate you and offer the guidance you need.Good luck and I hope this was helpful

Breast weight is notoriously difficult to judge.  Ultimately, though, it is not what you take off, it is what you leave that counts (as long as the removal meets insurance requirements).  I ask patients to tell me what it will be... on the small side, on the large side, or just do what you think looks good doctor side.

The procedure for the breast reduction will then be asymmetric in terms of the amount of breast tissue which will be removed.  There will be more tissue on the right, most likely around 800 CCs will be taken from the right, anywhere from 400-500 CCs from the left.
