The operation that you are describing is a double incision mastectomy with a nipple graft. This is best performed by a surgeon with specific experience and skill with this operation and the appropriately trained non gender biased staff.
Hi, you are looking more to make your chest appear breastless correct? If that is the case you are looking for a bilateral mastectomy with nipple grafting. It is possible to reduce your size with liposuction if your breast is smaller. You want to schedule an appointment with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that specializes in gender changes and discuss what is best for you (this will depend on your current breast size) and how much it may cost. The cost of these procedures varies in different areas. You also might consider getting a couple of opinions. #BreastReduction #Lesbian #PlasticSurgery #genderchange
Thanks for the question. Breast reduction surgery tends to be one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform. In my experience, patients in your situation, tend to desire to have quite a significant breast reduction procedure performed; in other words, their goals tend to be achieving as small an outcome as possible. Careful communication of your goals with your carefully selected plastic surgeon will be key. In my practice, I find the use of goal photographs very helpful during this communication process. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider, insurance company involvement… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well.In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to SEE lots of examples of their work AND preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. Best wishes.
I would encourage you to find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for a breast reduction surgery. The surgery takes 3-4 hours to perform and is done under general anesthesia. The costs depends on whether you are doing it as a cash case or authorized by insurance. Some insurance companies will cover the costs if it is reconstructive in nature. Good luck to you. I think that you have to ask your surgeon what is best for treatment. Heat packs or ice may not be the right thing right now.
Most insurance companies require that a minimum of 500 grams need to be removed from each breast in order to be eligible for coverage. 500 grams equates to about a DD cup size, so you probably are not eligible. Are you having any pain or grooving in your shoulders from your bra straps? Do you...
