What should I do to rejuvenate my face and mole removal? (photos)

32 y/o. I want a fresher look. I am using a tretonoin and hydroquinine cream. I haven't noticed any results despite using it for almost 3 mos.The vert lines around my mouth really bother me. I am also really bothered by the smaller mole on my cheek. It appears to be raised underneath the skin with just a bit of pigment. Its effect on the contour of my skin really bothers me. I've asked my derm about removal, but she doesn't like to remove moles unless cancerous.

A TCA peel would refresh the face nicely and you should also get rid of the mole so you look better.

The lines can be improved with fillers to the lines themselves and to provide anatomical support combined with sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy and/or ThermiRF treatments can help with skin tightening. The mole can be removed with lasers, radiowave or shave. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Hi Katie,
Thanks for the great question. The basis of any preventative regimen is daily sunscreen and tretinoin use. It sounds like you are already doing this which is great. In evaluating your photos it appears you are developing a common sign of aging that starts in the mid 20s or early 30s for most women.
You are losing so midfacial volume which is making your cheeks look low and is producing a tired look. Loss of cheek volume will also result in greater lines around the mouth as well as lower eyelid "bags"
I recommend a filler product for your cheeks to help brighten your eyes, refresh your look and soften the lines around your mouth. You would need an evaluation in person with a board certified dermatologist who is trained in cosmetics to help you choose the proper product. There are even fillers that can be used directly to correct lines in the cheeks.
Mole removal can be accomplished by laser treatment or completely excising (cutting out) the mole. Lasers can minimize the appearance of a mole but only a surgical removal will completely get rid of all the cells. Be sure to see a dermatologic surgeon or a Mohs surgeon if you choose to have it cut out since you would want the tiniest stitch line possible
