32 y/o. I want a fresher look. I am using a tretonoin and hydroquinine cream. I haven't noticed any results despite using it for almost 3 mos.The vert lines around my mouth really bother me. I am also really bothered by the smaller mole on my cheek. It appears to be raised underneath the skin with just a bit of pigment. Its effect on the contour of my skin really bothers me. I've asked my derm about removal, but she doesn't like to remove moles unless cancerous.

It looks like that mole would be successfully removed by cutting it flush with the skin (shave removal). To get it to heal nicely, it often helps to blend the edges with light electrodessication or laser. No stitches would be required.
From the photograph this appears to be a mole (nevus). If it is attempted to take this off very superficially, it will not remove the underlying pigment cells so the spot will still be there. It would need to be excised and then sutured (stitched). The procedure would probably...
