Hi. just wanted to ask a quick question about regains/minoxidal. I used minoxidil once last week but decided that I shouldn't commit to the treatment before speaking to a professional so only a couple of hours later I washed my hair in the shower with shampoo. Also I didn't apply the minoxidil directly onto my hair just on my hairline where it is receding. Could this cause any shredding and if so would the hair grow back?

it does not sound like an effect of the drug. If you have serious loss, PRP injected has shown remarkable results in many.

It is possible you will get some very minor shedding but most likely it will go unnoticed. It will grow back if a single application with wash off after a  couple of hours. Most likely there will no noticeable change in shedding patterns with the story provided. But see a physician for review if concerned.

A single use of minoxidil will not cause any effects on the hair as it requires constant use to get any effect therefore hair shedding from a single dose of minoxidil is due to your primary cause of hair loss
