Why won't edema from under eye fillers go away after dissolving with hyaluronidase?

I got tear trough fillers 5 months ago. I had edema 3 ish days following the fillers. It got really bad in May. I was injected with Juvaderm Ultra/ 0.1cc on each eye. Under muscle.had it dissolved by different injector with hyaluronidase. It worked the first time in removing tyndall effect and firmness of fillerbut I still had edema so I thought to get another round of dissolver. It's still super swollen and doesn't look different. Will this edema ever go away? I never had this before juvaderm.

Keep in mind, you may have some swelling after hyaluronidase injections and it needs a series of treatments to reverse filler. I suggest following up with your injector. Best, Dr. Emer

It can take a series of treatments and it's difficult to know how many treatments will be needed. Also, you may have some swelling from hyaluronidase injections, which can last 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps.

Hi Monique662,Hyaluronidase itself can cause swelling but should be gone in a few days. You may also feel that your native collagen was dissolved but your skin will recover, Dissolving with hyaluronidase should not be too aggressive.
