Ice pick scar - is Dermapen or TCA Cross a better treatment? (Photos)

I have been performing TCA CROSS performing microneedling professionally with both manual and electric devices for well over two decades. TCA CROSS is for safely and effectively treating ice pick scars and dilated pores in all skin types, even the most deeply pigmented skin. Widening of the scars may very occasionally occur, but in general this spontaneously resolves in several weeks. Dermarolling, whether manually or electronically performed, is best reserved for treating very superficial, surface texture and color irregularities. It is a very poor monotherapy for any kind of acne scar. Finally, the photos show evidence of an active acne acne breakout. It would be best to have the acne flare suppressed, so as not to interfere with the acne scar treatments, since the breakouts can adversely affect the treased scars, the way it adversely caused scars in normal skin in the first place. Make sure that you consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist who can help you to control your acne and then treat the scars. Best of luck.
