Is it okay to do microneedling RF (Infini RF) over lumps from subcision?

Question

I have been getting subcision for pitted acne scars over the last 4 months. I have read that it is normal to have hard lumps post subcision which I do have. The last few nights I've been massaging them and they've gone down, however there is still slight tenderness where the lumps have been. I want to get Microneedling RF (Infini) to further help with the acne scars. Is it okay to have Infini if you have post subcision lumps/tenderness?

Thank you for your question. Yes, it is OK to have microneedling following subcision. I would wait until the lumps resolve and the tenderness is gone. I would continue to massage the lumps.

I will often combine subcision and Infini in the same sitting. Treating lumps from subcision with the Infini is fine, but in your case, I would wait until you are less tender and have healed more. It is quite possible that this issue subsides on its own.
