I had in home glycolic acid 50 % peel to reduce black pigmentation from acne. Here is my face on the 22nd and 3rd day. Is it normal ? I got no pain but still red marks. l had fluid secretition on the first night and 2nd am , but it stopped. Peeling has not started yet. It is thin layer, so I hope it will dry and peel off. I hope I dont get scar or get worse. My black skin area was the worst affected.

I would suggest using Melapads daily exfoliating pads and Melarase to help even out your skin complexion and improve the burn marks. In addition, PDL may also help.Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
The redness will likely subside. For our patients we have them use Elevase creams to help hydrate the skin after a chemical peel. If redness persists, you may consider having pulsed dye laser treatments. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
At this point, I would suggest reversing the damage as much as possible. Begin with daily application of sunscreen + use of Melarase creams at least twice a day to combat the hyperpigmentation. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
