Burn from 100% TCA. Will this cause permanent damage ? (photo)

Came to get a test spot for cross Tca and Dr spilled to much from the syringe on surrounding area. This is 2 days after and they are now putting silver gel + Tefla with paper tape until its “healed” . Will this cause permanent damage ? Will I run the risk of hyper-hypo pigmentation with scaring ?
