Hello, I have started laser for fascial hair removal, previously I had dark but thin hair. now I have done 10+ sessions in one place (didnt work) and changed to a new place and done around 5 sessions. However, the hair is growing but not falling out, and I feel like it is increasing or becoming thicker in nature. I don't know what to do with regards to this problem. Note: my hormone check is normal. should I stop laser?

Hi there, sorry to hear you’re frustrated with your laser hair removal results. Are you using an at-home device? If so, you might want to think about talking to a cosmetic surgeon’s office about professional laser hair removal treatments instead. At-home devices just aren’t able to achieve the same level of results as professional lasers. If you are already working with a professional, you might want to seek a second opinion, as you should certainly be seeing results by10 treatments. Make sure you’re working with an experienced cosmetic surgeon who is certified to perform this procedure. Good luck.

Laser hair removal does not really mean permanent hair removal, it is technically a hair reduction treatment. With that being said not every laser is equal. Some lasers have different technology or wavelengths. Consult with the physician providing your laser hair removal treatments, and inform them of your concerns. They may want to increase the wavelengths or etc. Good luck.
