Will RF microneedling contract a recent surgery scar/incision or would it be beneficial? If so, how soon after suture removal can it be performed?

There is evidence that microneedling may be beneficial for post-surgical scars. Discuss with your treating provider about your specific concerns and their advice on how long after surgery before undergoing treatment.

Awesome question. Microneedling (with or without RF) is a fantastic treatment for scars. We usually take sutures out around 2 weeks and start the discussion about scar management. If patients choose to pursue microneedling, I usually start around 6 weeks postop.
