I have had some asymmetrical growth of my jaw resulting in a chin asymmetry, shifted dental midline and tilted smile. I consulted an oral maxillofacial surgeon who advised me that bimax combined with orthodontics would be the only way to properly correct all these issues. He advised against this and instead recommend only a sliding genio to correct my chin asymmetry. But this still leaves my shifted dental midline and cant, which my orthodontist said would be impossible to fix without surgery.
