I received a new bridge, crown and vaneer yesterday and I am so unhappy with. My front two two teeth were already larger than the rest and now they're even bigger. They are also uneven and do not match. I accepted them initially but I couldn't see them too well as they kept falling off and they were in a hurry due to me being late to my appt. What should I do?
Answer: #Veneer and bridge don't match #DrSoftTouch Hello there,I agree that your recent dental work does not match your natural teeth. It may be possible to make minor adjustments, but you may need to have it redone. I would recommend seeing your dentist about your concerns. It's important to make sure that you are happy with the look and shade of your veneer and bridge before they are permanently cemented. Also, it's always important to look at before and after photos when choosing your dentist. They will give you a good idea about what you can expect. Good luck and I hope this helps. Answer: Big front teeth, different lengths Diagnostic Wax-up should have been done before new crowns I understand wht you don't like about your smile. It is possible to reshape the front teeth which will improve the look very quickly.Ideally, treatment begins with a diagnostic wax-up so your provisional is planned as a final restoration. The provisional is then modified to create the look you want prior to cementationTo really make your smile special you should consider widening your Maxilla to create a full wide smile and create proper positioning of your teeth and better proportios. I would suggest the DNA Appliance or SARPETo create the same effect with prosthetic work you would need to do a minimum of 8 teeth, ideally 10 to give your v-shaped upper into rounded curve.Ira L Shapira DDS, D,ABDSM, D,AAPM, FICCMOThinkBetterLife.com

Answer: Unhappy with new bridge Hi there,Communicating your expectations with your dentist before starting treatment is crucial to having a great final esthetic outcome. However, now that the treatment is completed, it is worth it have a discussion with your dentist about what happened. There are options to fix this, however it involves re-doing the case. Your dentist may give you a discount to remake the porcelain to your liking. One option would be the make the teeth (lateral incisors) next to the front teeth slightly larger to offset some of the size difference.
