Can I use Tretinoin 0.05% and Epiduo at the same time for acne and wrinkles?

Thanks for your question.  You might not want to use both the Epiduo and tretinoin on the same days, but alternating would probably be fine.  Epiduo has both a mild, synthetic retinoid and  benzoyl peroxide in it, so can be more useful for active acne, and the tretinion is good for maintenance/prevention of future breakouts.  It is also more specific to wrinkles on a very small scale if you can tolerate it on a fairly regular basis.  You might want to ask your dermatologist about a topical antibiotic such as Aczone or Clindamycin.  Those work well with tretinoin or Epiduo and won't be irritating.  If you get too dry with the retinoids (tretinoin and Epiduo), you can apply a thin layer of a non-pore clogging moisturizer over the cream at night, and definitely use a good quality sunscreen during the day as you will be more prone to sun damage while using the retinoids.  Best of luck!

Since Retin-A and the adapalene in the Epiduo are in the same family of medication, and may increase risk for side effects, especially irritation, I would not recommend using them concurrently.
