Want to be a fire fighter with breast implants

Question

Hi, I have had silicone indeed for 10 weeks, and have applied for a fire fighting position and another job that requires burn off etc so will be getting close to fire, therefore high temperatures. I am worried this would be the wrong direction for me, due to having silicone implants. My concerns are rupturing due to high heat, or over heating the implants. I have tried to contact my surgeon a couple of times to ask, but had no luck and need to know before I commit to this job/s. Cheers

Hi CharlieThank you for your interesting question.  There is no chance that the heat that your body could withstand would cause any issues with your implants.  That can be sterilised to a much higher heat than you could cope with! All the best with your dream job. Regards

It is 100% a non-issue. If you are fully healed/recovered you can proceed as if you never had implants. Good luck!

being a firefighter is not a problem with breast augmentation and I have performed this surgery on a number of firefighters. There is always the possibility of rupturing an implant from severe trauma, but this is true in everyday life. Heat is not a problem, as the implants can withstand a higher temperature than can the human body.
