Jaw surgery (orthognathic or maxillofacial) should be reserved for extreme cases. If you are happy with your smile, do nothing at this point. If you develop TMJ (jaw joint issues), then seek guidance from a qualified dentist. If you want to improve your smile, orthodontics (traditional or Invisalign) is the answer. Your posterior teeth are tilted inward and expanding the upper jaw (maxilla) would create room for moving the front teeth into a more aesthetic position. This answer is based on one photograph and no radiographs. Seek a qualified dentist, orthodontist or general dentist for guidance. And remember, it’s okay to ask questions, it’s your smile, your mouth, and your health!
