Hi,A prescription strength retinol will help with the texture of your skin. Retinol increases our skins cellular turn over rate. Some of the best treatments to help with pores and improve texture are chemical peels, microneedling, and 1540 fractional resurfacing laser, all of these require little down time and are not very invasive.. We recommend pairing chemical peels with microneedling, it is good for prepping the skin prior to microneedling allowing for all the old dead skin to be exfoliated off as well as after a microneedling treatment to allow for better peel penetration. Fractional resurfacing with the 1540 laser is another option that targets texture specifically, stimulating collagen production. Any of these or a combination would help improve your skin overall, paired with a good skin care regimen for at home.
Hello, if you are looking for a topical treatment retinol or prescription tretinoin will help with the texture of your skin. It does look like you have some acne scarring and this would be best treated with microneedling. We use vivace which is a combination treatment of microneedling and radio frequency. We've achieved great results at minimizing acne scarring with it. Good luck!
Thank you for your question and photograph. It's difficult to evaluate your skin through this type of forum, but from what I can see, it looks like you have enlarged pores and atrophic scarring (indentation). Topical retinoids can help minimize pore size over time but is not guaranteed. For the scarring, procedures that cause injury to the skin creating subsequent collagen formation will be helpful, such as laser therapy, microneedling, etc. I highly recommend you consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to have your skin evaluated and to discuss appropriate treatment options. Take care and good luck.
Thanks for your question. You will probably do fine using both the benzoyl peroxide/glycolic acid serum in the mornings in addition to your nightly tretinoin. If you are very tolerant of the tretinoin and you don't get peeling or redness or sensitivity, you can go ahead and start the morning s...
Thank you for your question. Yes azelaic acid can be used in the morning and tretinoin cream at night, however, a common side effect of both medications is dryness, irritation, peeling, etc. I recommend consulting with your dermatologist regarding any further questions and concerns. Take care...
Thank you for your question. Tretinoin cream works well for fine lines and unfortunately not as effective for deep wrinkles. In some cases, injectable fillers or neurotoxins is more effective for deeper wrinkles. I highly recommend you consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic...
