I want a second opinion about correcting my fluorosis and the chips in my smile and a quote for treatment if possible. (Photos)

Question

My dentist/orthodontist only presented me with one option and that was to get Invisalign's to move my teeth into a better position and to pull the front 4 down so they can shave off the affected area of the tooth. Costing around $6000. Another dentist said Veneers was the way to go but I'm not a fan of that option because I want to keep my teeth and don't think that is an affordable option for me. Any opinions?

I need to have you answer some questions first.How do you feel about the broken teeth and the fluorosis? Do you want this covered up and restored back to the shape and natural coloring?Did the orthodontist and dentist propose any restorative work after the orthodontic treatment?Are you aware of No-Prep and Minimal-Prep Veneers which do not require the kind of drilling of the teeth that conventional veneers require?

Looks like....just from the photos only....a case of Limited Invisalign, some selective enamelplasty and dental composite bonding.  You can go very conservative but you do have difficult teeth to match with bonding.  You can get the job done for less but will have to shop around and remember, you are paying for a doctor to perform healthcare.....you wouldn't want to hunt for the cheapest cardiologist to perform open heart surgery would you?  You are not buying tires....just keep that in mind, you are buying EXPERTISE and RESULTS....not 2mm of composite filling material.  Good luck and post your new smile later!

The chips on your teeth and fluorosis can be removed with a process called microabrasion giving excellent results.
