Can I wear a retainer after dental bonding?

A retainer is supposed to slip on and off rather passively, as it is taken to capture the true size and shape of your teeth. If it is placing any significant pressure on a given area, it's likely that the impression or stone model fabrication was done incorrectly (and there could be numerous other reasons as well).
