Tattoo removal, 1 month post op, scared of scarring, advice? (photo)

It is difficult to tell from your picture as it is blurred. We do not treat tattoos until 8 weeks after prior treatment and do have a an aftercare regime to improve skin quality.  You had red ink in this tattoo which should be treated with caution and an appropriate wavelength (532 picosecond).  We use Cutera enlighten with great results.  However, red ink pigment can cause blistering, inflammation and in some cases, flu like symptoms in those who are sensitive.  If the tattoo removal treatments are in a medical office setting they can help you through this with no long term problems or scarring.  I would definitely wait longer between treatments.  Healthy skin is important.  Try a good quality medical barrier cream such as Epionce between treatments (after crusting is healed).  

It's somewhat difficult to see from the photo posted. I would recommend waiting a little longer before your next treatment. Sometimes ink will change color after a treatment. To achieve a certain color ink, a tattoo artist may mix various colors. Different laser wavelengths will remove some colors more quickly. When this happens the color of ink may change.
