How much hair should be growing after 5th laser session? (Photos)

My reaction is the same as Dr. Blair's. Was the machine used to treat you really a laser or was it IPL (intense pulsed light)?
IPL machines do not deliver energy as effectively, powerfully and specifically as lasers. Because the technology of IPLs is simple compared to lasers, they are less expensive to purchase and patients pay less for the treatment. The cost savings is not worth it in the long run because IPL machines are not effective enough for hair removal.
If the machine used to treat you was indeed a laser, it may not have been designed for hair removal or the settings may not have been suitable. I would have expected you to have made more progress by this point.

Your hair growth should be a lot thinner and less dense after 5 sessions. It looks like you are a good candidate for the treatment but you should follow up with your provider to see what device is being used and if the settings should increase. 

Hello, thank you for your question.  The question that I think you should be asking is, what kind of laser is being used.  You look like a perfect candidate for laser hair removal, light skin and dark hair.  I would expect the hair growth to be significantly reduced in the treated area by the 5th session.  Perhaps a light (IPL) device is being used?  A laser should have reduced the hair growth in the treated area by a lot more that it seems by the photos you have supplied.  Find out what kind of laser is being used. Lasers are much more effective than light (IPL) devices.
