Can I get a TCA chemical peel done while on minocycline?

I am on 100 mg of minocycline twice a day. Would it be safe to get a chemical peel done for my acne scaring?

TCA peels can vary in depth, but do not usually extend past the dermis of the skin. The cheek volume loss is likley not related to the TCA peel. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

In our office, we perform many chemical peels and TCA 15% treatments can be performed at 4 week intervals. I would suggest using a alpha beta hydroxy acid treatment pad such as Melapads once or twice daily in between sessions. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
