Will IPL for Broken Capillaries remove my facial hair?

I am wanting to get IPL for some small broken blood vessels on my face. Some of the vessels are under my facial hair. Will this remove my facial hair as well or will it only target the blood vessels ? Thank you

Yes, a side effect of IPL is temporary hair growth reduction as it not only targets melanin in the skin but also the hair follicle. Therefore, if you are wanting to target broken capillaries, IPL may not be the best option as collateral damage can occur.

Hello, and thank you for your question. If you are going to be doing IPL for vessels under hair you will have to shave the area so the IPL can target the blood vessels. The IPL may reduce your hair but not take it fully away.
