Will IPL for Broken Capillaries remove my facial hair?

I am wanting to get IPL for some small broken blood vessels on my face. Some of the vessels are under my facial hair. Will this remove my facial hair as well or will it only target the blood vessels ? Thank you

When treating with IPL or LASER it is important to wait 2 weeks following the completion of a steroid or antibiotic. Certain antibiotics (specifically in the tetracycline family) cause photosensitivity. Steroids can impair the skin's ability to heal.
