My crowns are feeling all of the above for my smile. I had an awful experience with a dentist who placed them on, did no trial, & got upset when I said they didn't look right on me. He said let me place the tops in and you'll see it better. They feel uncomfortable, when I talk I have a lisp, the teeth feel long in back, & implant is causing odd cold sensations in lips. My folks sacrificed everything. Their home, for me and now I've wasted their money.
Answer: Planning and lab are key to cosmetics If you aren't happy, you aren't happy. Not all dentists have the same methods to delivering cosmetic solutions, and I feel the key is a combination of planning and a top lab. Just like not all dentists have the same skills, the same goes for labs. I suggest a diagnostic waxup of what you desire, wear a prototype smile to verify you like the plan, and be sure the dentist uses a lab that can use the best materials and methods to deliver the best result. Your current dentist may be able to do all of this for you.

Answer: Bulky, long, wide crowns If you are unhappy with your treatment, you need to go back to your dentist and let him/her know. Before you have them removed, you should have a wax up done. This is where they take molds of your existing teeth, and create a wax mold of what the end result will look like. After analyzing that wax up, you can make a decision as to whether or not you want them redone. Another option would be to fine tune the ones you have. A little bit can go a long way! Don't lose hope, if you are unhappy it can be fixed, even if it's from another dentist.

Answer: Crowns I think they look gorgeous. But if you have issues with lisping, have your doctor adjust the length to a more comfortable level.
