Should I have all lower teeth crowned?

I have a porcelain bridge upper that involves several teeth.My dentist is recommending crowning all my lowers because he thinks the porcelain will break down my natural lower teeth.Does this make sense?

Hello, yes it is normal for a percentage of adults to be missing one or more teeth. In most cases this is genetic.
