Minoxidil made my hair fall out, will it ever grow back, even 50%?

After three years of minoxidil, hoping for more hair. Unfortunately, my hair fell out daily, I then ran out . I didn't get around to buying it for a week, and never lost any hair. I've stopped, and no more shedding hair in the shower every morning. Virtually none. Question now, will my hair ever grow back, even 50% ?

There are many reasons for hair loss. Genetics, hormones, anemia, stress, low thyroid, inflammation, etc. Without a thorough in person examination, it's impossible to know why have been losing hair. In the case of some types of shedding, it is a temporary increase in the telogen phase of the hair cycle and many people recover a majority of their hair. In other cases, it is true hair loss and once a follicle is gone, it will not ever regrow. Your best bet is to see a physician for a hands-on evaluation. I hope this answers your question.
