i read alot about it being possible to create a gap between two bones, and that gap filling in with new bone, like in a vertical sliding genioplasty. so i was wondering. is it possible to make a cut alongside the entire jawline, like they do in a full chin wing osteotomy. and then with plates and screws create a vertical gap between the severed bone and the jawbone, and have it grow together, making the jawbone longer. my jaw is very short and im very insecure about it. but i dont want implants.
