Will having varicose veins increase my chances of blood clots post op? (Photo)

Been thinking about surgery to flatten my lower abdominal area. What's best for me? Also I get pain in my calfs from varicose veins would this cause a problem during or after surgery? I worry about blood clots.

In your photos you have a high area above and below the scar. Liposuction can lower these areas. The scar band under the depressed area can be released, using a tool called a pickle fork.  Fat grafting can then be done to elevate the depression and keep it from sticking down.

Hi and thanks for your question.  Personally, I would only do a tummy tuck under general anesthesia.  My guess is most plastic surgeons would agree.  I think under local with sedation the surgeon would not have as good control over the procedure, both in terms of safety and...

 The prominence you shown the photographs should be shown to your surgeon. It's possible that you have a fluid collection called a seroma we should be drained.
